Birth day generally is the day someone was born. The birth date is usually documented for easy reference. Our date of birth can make us happy and unhappy at same time. Each time we remember our birthdays, a lot come to our mind.

Those who love throwing parties would first be preoccupied with thoughts on how to go about their birthday celebration; how to fund it and ensure its successful.

The end of this party comes the real party; thoughts of our achievements so far comes into play. This time is just us thinking about us, our achievements and way forward. This is the real party, a party you throw to yourself, by yourself and for yourself. The said party is an aftermath of the first you did with family and friends.

What’s the proper way to celebrate our birthdays?

The way we celebrate our birthdays varies depending on the environment.

The aim of this piece is to find out what people think about splashing water on the celebrants on their birthdays. This happens mostly in schools. Your friends just pop out of no where and pour water on you till you’re drenched.

Others however surprise their friends with birthday cakes, gifts and in some cases take them to different places.

Splashing or pouring of water on celebrants on their birthdays has been recoded in primary, secondary and tertiary . It also happens outside school environment.
Students however have proven to be very active at pouring water on their friends to mark their birthdays.

Student’s love to have fun and considers splashing of water more fun to eating of cake. Others however think water is not as expensive as cakes.

Between cake and water which one do you prefer as a surprise on your birthday?
